Throughout the pandemic, Advantage Gymnastics Academy has adapted to ever-changing guidance to help keep our community as safe as possible.   Effective October 25th, we will continue to do so by following King County’s Vaccine Verification Order.   We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we implement this new step in our safety protocols.

Beginning on October 25th, all Advantage customers who are 12-years and older will be asked to show verification that they are fully vaccinated prior to participating in any gym activities.  Alternatively, customers may show documentation of a negative PCR test within 72-hours of entering the facility.  This is a requirement for our business, along with all other indoor youth sports facilities in King County.

Please see the following details for more information.

Parents or athletes are asked to present documentation of their completed vaccine series on or before October 25th.  Anyone who has not been vaccinated, or does not wish to present information pertaining to vaccination, may opt to show a negative PCR test taken within 3 days of each visit.

Parents, siblings, and any other guests who are 12-years or older that wish to remain in the building to participate in activities, or view classes, team practices, or events, must also present proof of vaccination or a negative test result.  This includes parents and caregivers who are attending our drop-in events, such as Tumble Tots or Indoor Playground.

Adults who enter the building briefly to drop off or pick up their children, or shop in our store, are not required to present proof of vaccination.  If you wish to stay in the facility for any other purpose, please have your verification information available.

Outdoor viewing is available for parents who do not wish to present either form of documentation.

Please submit one of the following:

·       CDC vaccination card or photo of the card

·       Documentation of proof of vaccine from your medical provider or vaccine administrator

·       Printed certificate or QR code from MyIRmobile

Proof of vaccination can be emailed to or presented in person.  The requirement begins on October 25th, but you may submit your information prior to that date.  Customers enrolled in any recreational class or team program will only need to provide their vaccination information once.

As an alternative to proof of vaccination, customers may present documentation of a negative test result within the previous 72 hours.  This must be presented at each visit.

Please see the FAQ section on King County’s website for more complete information about the details of this order.

QMy child is 11-years old or younger, do I need to do anything differently?

A:  The requirements do not apply to anyone younger than 12-years old.

QWhat if my child is not vaccinated or does not wish to show proof of verification?

A:  Unfortunately, they will not be able to participate in Advantage activities at this time without submitting documentation of vaccination or an approved negative test result.

Q:  What if I have a religious objection or medical exemption?

A:  Exemptions are not allowed under the King County order.  The available alternative is to submit documentation of a negative test result at each visit.

QWhat if my child has turned 12 recently?

A:  Children who have recently turned 12-years old will have a grace period to complete their vaccination series.  Parents should indicate that their child is scheduled for vaccination and / or has completed their initial dose.  Testing will not be required during the grace period.

QWill you still be requiring masks?

A:  Our existing mask policy will remain in place until further notice.
